BioI yam what I yam.
On the surface, I am a chubby, hispanic female in her early 30s. T'is a great disguise to take people by surprise with.
The personality that I have, once folks get to know me, is not what they would usually expect from my mamasita appearance. For instance, I'm not a Catholic and I don't intend on ever squeezing out grandkids for my mom. I am extremely silly, often goofy, especially around people I like. I love to go out dancing and sing karaoke, and can do both stone cold sober; my shyness died long ago. I'm quite independent and perhaps a little eccentric.
I have many kinds of friends, mostly of the type considered "weird" by society. I am a big honkin' weirdo myself, after all. My friends are geeks, gays, furries, polyamoryists... and are also religious, pagan, college-educated, etc... Yet I myself am not exactly any of that. I'm straight, monogamous, and non-religious. I'm smart, but where my friends have sensible degrees (like Computer Science, Engineering, etc.), mine was a useless B.S. in Radio-TV-Film. I did some local TV work for a while after college, but when I realized I didn't like it, I also tried out a bunch of random jobs: office clerk, photo lab tech, Apple tech support, childcare worker, window washer. My current career is massage therapy (which I actually think I'm gonna stick to). I also suspect I may be an artist! In any case, I don't really fit anywhere. I am not very (insert clique here). I am just So. Very. ME.
I'm honest, although you might have to prod me if you really want to know something. I may take my time to make decisions, but when I do, and say I am going to do something for you, or be somewhere, that means I will follow through. In other words, I do not flake out on people very often, as I abhor that kind of wishy-washiness.
I add people as friends either because they are real-life friends that I have met, know and love; or, if they are strangers, because I really like what they post on LiveJournal. I admit to lurking on LJ communities' friends lists. So, if you do not like being friended by me, feel free to either ignore me or tell me to fuck right off; I'll go away, no problem. But! If you want to talk to me, that is ok too. :)
CAUTION: Most of the time I am bubbly and cuddly, but I may weird you out from time to time. I think life is too short to beat about the bush; I wanna RAWK!!!
